Thornton Website Design and Local SEO
A City Built for Veterans
Thornton’s got a better origin story than most suburbs. And if you run a business here, a little of that history still shows up in how people find you.
Back in 1953, this was farmland. Then developer Sam Hoffman bought land off Washington Street, about seven miles north of Denver, and started building brick homes aimed at World War II veterans and their young families. He named the place after Colorado’s governor at the time, Dan Thornton. It was the first fully planned community in Adams County, and the residents who moved in formed a community association that pushed for incorporation. Thornton became a city in 1956.
As a veteran-owned company, we’ll admit that one makes us smile. A town that got its start giving returning soldiers a shot at owning a home is a good kind of town to do business in.
Original Thornton, Eastlake, and Everything Since
That one-square-mile start grew into a lot. Thornton had 141,867 residents at the 2020 census, which makes it the sixth-most-populous city in Colorado. It’s mostly in Adams County, with a piece in Weld County, and it keeps pushing north.
Here’s the part that matters for your website: the old neighborhood names never went away. When RTD opened the N Line commuter rail in September 2020, three of its stations landed in Thornton, and two of them are named for neighborhoods: Original Thornton/88th and Eastlake/124th, the end of the line. Eastlake was around as its own community long before Thornton existed. Those names still mean something locally, and they’re worth using.
So if you mostly serve the south end near 88th, say that. If most of your jobs are up around Eastlake and 124th, say that too. A Google Business Profile service area that matches where you actually work, plus site content that uses the names your customers use, beats a website that just says “Thornton” and hopes for the best. One word of caution, though: don’t crank out a separate page for every neighborhood with the name swapped. That’s a pattern Google treats as spam. Talk about the areas where you’ve got something real to say.
What We Build
Custom WordPress Websites
Every site’s built phone-first, because that’s where people are when they search. Pages that load fast, your number where people can see it, tap-to-call that works, and forms that confirm they actually sent. Under the hood, structured data tells search engines and AI tools what you do and which areas you cover.
Sites start at $2,999. That covers design, development, and 12 months of managed WordPress hosting with free content updates. If you need online booking, a member or patient portal, or a connection to your CRM or email platform, we’ll quote that separately, and you’ll have the number before we start. Full pricing is here.
Managed WordPress Hosting and Maintenance
The first year comes with the build. After that it’s $65 a month for hosting and maintenance together: core and plugin updates, security patches, SSL, off-site backups, uptime monitoring, and content changes.
New hours, new photo, new service? Email Mike and it gets done. No logging in, no support tickets, no hourly charges for the small stuff.
Local SEO
Most of the work starts with your Google Business Profile: the right categories, a service area that fits where you actually go, and current photos. Then it’s making your business info match across the directories Google pays attention to, building up reviews, and giving each service its own page. One page trying to cover everything you do rarely beats a competitor who broke their services out.
Melanie handles marketing in-house, so if paid search, social, or an email campaign to past customers makes sense, you don’t need another vendor. Here’s how our local SEO campaigns work.
Where We Work
No office, no storefront. Almost every project runs start to finish by phone and email, and we’re glad to meet at your business or by video if you’d rather. Whatever’s easiest for you works for us.
Around Thornton we cover Westminster, Broomfield, Arvada, and Denver. Across the rest of the metro: Aurora, Lakewood, Littleton, Englewood, and Highlands Ranch. Meet Mike and Melanie.
Let’s Talk About Your Thornton Business
Send us your website address. We’ll check how it holds up on a phone, whether your listings agree with each other, and whether you’re looking at a rebuild or just some cleanup. If cleanup’s enough, that’s what we’ll tell you.
